This case report describes rapid staged reconstruction of a traumatic medial leg wound in a 77-year-old male using DermiSphere™ hDRT followed by a split-thickness skin graft (STSG).
The wound bed was suitable for STSG by day 7, with complete graft take at dressing removal. The report documents improved contour and restoration of supple skin around the flexion and extension surface, with an epithelialized wound at postoperative day 24.
