Hirak Parikh, Ph.D., is an experienced life sciences and medical technology investor with expertise in corporate venture capital, strategic investing and early-stage company development. He serves as Principal, Venture Investments with Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC, where he leads and manages MedTech investments across eastern North America and serves on the boards of portfolio companies. Previously, he managed the Michigan Biomedical Venture Fund, investing in early-stage companies across therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics and digital health. Dr. Parikh has a background in neuroscience, product development and biomedical engineering and earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
