Biomaterials scientist and regenerative medicine leader with 18+ years of experience translating tissue engineering innovations into products for wound care and reconstruction.
As Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Fesarius Therapeutics, Yulia leads scientific strategy, technology development and medical affairs. Since joining the company as its first employee in 2017, she has played a key role in transferring Fesarius’ core technology from Cornell University and advancing the DermiSphere™ platform from early development through commercialization. Her work spans research and development, product development, intellectual property, scientific collaborations and medical affairs, while serving as a scientific leader across the organization.
Prior to Fesarius, Yulia was a Research Scientist at Cresilon, leading R&D programs in rheology and polymer science.
